New Tri What?

We got one of these tonight.  A Nutribullet.  Kinda weird sounding.  But Lauren especially has been a great guiding force for our family’s nutritious eating habits, and I wanted to assist her in that.  I know that she has been wanting to do green smoothies for a while and so when a colleague of mine told me about Nutribullet, I thought I’d check it out.  I read the reviews.  Most indicated that while there are some hardware issues, overall, it makes a good green smoothie, and, for what you get, it’s not too pricey.  Given that I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond, which has notoriously wonderful return policies, if the hardware just isn’t working out for us, we know we can return it no questions asked.  Lauren remarked about a friend who successfully returned a broom to Bed Bath and Beyond.  A broom.  That was used.  She used the freaking broom for a year in her house filled with kids.  And they still took it back.  So, if we use the derned thing for a few months and it craps out on us, I’m confident that we’ll be able to get our money back.

So we are now on the path to healthy eating or something like that, so that manual says.  We’ll see.  Green smoothies can be good and healthy and stuff.  I’ll post about if we like it or not as we try it.  Hopefully I can get some pictures up.  Getting the WordPress iPhone app will significantly help with that (otherwise, it entails too many steps).

The smoothies are green because of all the mint chocolate chip ice cream in them, right?
